It was a truly unforgettable and deeply moving occasion to celebrate our exceptional graduates at the iconic Turkish House in Manhattan, New York. On this special day of April 23rd, we express our gratitude to the Consul General of New York, Ambassador Mr. Ahmet Yazal, and his esteemed wife, Mrs. Zeynep Yazal, for gracing our school's National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations with their presence.In addition, as part of the commemoration of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day, two of our students had the honor of paying an official visit to the CEO's office.
First Lady Mrs. Emine Erdogan visit to our Zero Waste Exhibition
Following the iftar program hosted by TASC at the Turkish House in New York in honor of Her Excellency Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, First Lady of the Republic of Türkiye, students from the Maarif School exhibited drawings they had created as part of the Zero Waste Project. We extend our sincere thanks to Mrs. Erdoğan for her great interest in the artwork and for personally engaging with each student.
We are a member of The National Beta Club- Honor Society!
The National Beta Club is an honor society that recognizes academic achievement and leadership in students. It is one of the largest and most prestigious organizations for students in grades 4-12 in the United States. The club emphasizes the development of character, leadership, and service in students.We are happy to announce our induction into The National Beta Club- Honor Society. There are three divisions starting at elementary grades 4 and 5, middle school grades 6-8, and high school grades 9-12.
Maarif School students participated in the 2025 Global Citizens Model United Nations (GCMUN) Conference. Over three days, they engaged with students from around the world to discuss and propose solutions to some of the most critical challenges facing humanity today. Our school was honored with the "Best Medium Delegation" award, and eight of our students received Honorable Mentions.
