Following the iftar program hosted by TASC at the Turkish House in New York in honor of Her Excellency Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, First Lady of the Republic of Türkiye, students from the Maarif School exhibited drawings they had created as part of the Zero Waste Project. The National Beta Club is an honor society that recognizes academic achievement and leadership in students. It is one of the largest and most prestigious organizations for students in grades 4-12 in the United States. The club emphasizes the development of character, leadership, and service in students.We are happy to announce our induction into The National Beta Club- Honor Society. There are three divisions starting at elementary grades 4 and 5, middle school grades 6-8, and high school grades 9-12.

Over three days, they engaged with students from around the world to discuss and propose solutions to some of the most critical challenges facing humanity today. Our school was honored with the "Best Medium Delegation" award, and eight of our students received Honorable Mentions.
